Most humans don’t realize it, but besides being beautiful, smart, and classy, we kats often have certain sensibilities that go unnoticed and unappreciated.

Not so in the case of Oscar the Therapy Kat.

According to reports by the caregivers at Steere House Nursing and Rehab Center in Rhode Island (as reported by The Telegraph), Oscar, one of five resident kats at the Center, knew when a patient was within hours of dying, and insisted on going to the dying patient, where he would sit with them until the end.

He predicted 50 deaths and was right each time.

Now, I don’t want to keep thinking about dying humans, but I think Oscar deserves to be remembered fur his obvious desire to comfort the dying.

And, I think its pawsome that humans are beginning to see that we kats are more than “just animals!”

Paws up to Oscar fur sensing when he was needed most of all… And fur always offering warmth, love and comfort to the human who would otherwise die alone.
